Rose Honorarium Ceremony

A beautiful and symbolic way to honor the mother’s of the bride and groom in the wedding ceremony is by giving them roses.  I especially love The Rose Honorarium Ceremony when it is a surprise for the mothers. Although there are a variety of different wording options that the officiant could share, below is on of my favorites.

The bride and groom would like to pause at this time to honor their parents, who have loved them, raised them, and guided them to this wonderful time in their lives. In recognition of the love and sacrifice that each parent has made, the bride and groom will give a rose to each of their mothers as a token of love and respect.

The bride and groom should go together to present a rose to the Bride's mother and then to the Groom's mother.
