Meadow Ridge Events
/This past weekend I had the honor of performing a wedding ceremony at Meadow Ridge Events located in Windsor, Ohio. Not only had I never heard of this amazing venue, I didn't know there was a Windsor, OH. I am delighted to have learned about this amazing place so I can share with couples looking for that very special venue that allows them to have a beautiful outdoor wedding.
Meadow Ridge Events is a family-owned and operated outdoor event and catering facility that was derived from Art and Linda Smith's vision of providing a comfortable environment in which guests can truly enjoy the most significant events of their lives.
Art and Linda are both Cleveland natives who met in one of Art's Cleveland Heights bars. In 1976, they purchased a former dairy farm in Geauga county, which was to become Meadow Ridge Farm. The Smiths were married in a field at Meadow Ridge that summer and began the transformation of the property. They also created a unique catering experience in which grilled meats and fresh, local produce are served in a stunning outdoor setting.
Three decades later, the Smith family has hosted countless weddings, family reunions, church functions, concerts, and other special events, always striving to give an exceptional level of service to please their guests.
